John Klopfenein Furniture and Flooring/La-Z-Boy Fort Wayne has an opportunity for a full-time Sales Professional. Come work for our locally owned independent organization in a family type atmosphere. Our representatives are responsible for creating sales of Furniture and flooring products, utilizing exceptional customer service and product knowledge. The Sales Professional will also strive to create long term customer relationships that will lead to increased sales. We place value on our teamwork, positive attitude, enthusiasm, ability to learn, as well as personal motivation and drive.

Responsibilities include:

· Ensuring that each customer has an informative and positive experience through utilization of superior customer service and knowledge of the product offerings

· Meeting individual sales goals and contribute to the store’s overall sales goals through the demonstration of professional selling skills

· Provide superior “after the sale” service to build rapport and increase future business

· Maintaining a positive working relationship with all sales associates, management, and ownership

· Ensuring the store always represents a professional atmosphere in culture and appearance

· Being a good listener and clearly communicating effectively the clients wants, needs, and desires.

· Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the store, this includes, but is not limited to, maintenance of floor/showroom displays, tagging product and accessories, and general store cleanliness

· Must have a friendly and outgoing personality

Job Requirements

· Flexible scheduling (we will work to try to accommodate your schedule)

· Saturday required

· Strong communication skills

· Basic computer skills required
