John Jones Auto Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing Service Department. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and dedicated to providing high-quality automotive repairs and maintenance. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
Perform accurate diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues
Complete repairs and maintenance including brakes, suspension, engine, transmission, heating/AC, electrical systems, and drivability concerns
Conduct multi-point inspections and document findings clearly
Perform manufacturer-recommended services and warranty repairs
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair needs, parts requirements, and timelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety protocols, dealership procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
Test-drive vehicles to confirm repairs
Stay current on training, certifications, and new automotive technologies
Qualifications
Automotive technician experience required (dealership experience preferred)
ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with dealership systems, diagnostic tools, and repair equipment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a shop environment
