Our fun, technology-driven orthodontic practice is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator / Patient Relations Specialist to join our growing team. We are committed to providing outstanding patient care and customer service, which is why our patients genuinely enjoy visiting our office.
Position Overview
The ideal candidate is highly organized, personable, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. You should be able to multitask efficiently, prioritize responsibilities, exercise sound judgment, and consistently follow through on tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greeting and welcoming patients and families
- Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating appointments
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Posting and processing patient payments
- Assisting with insurance verification and benefit coordination
- Supporting marketing and patient outreach initiatives
- Presenting orthodontic treatment plans and discussing recommended treatment options with patients
- Working closely with the doctor to ensure patients understand their treatment recommendations and next steps
- Following up with prospective patients regarding treatment acceptance
- Building strong relationships with patients, families, and referral sources
- Providing exceptional customer service throughout the patient experience
- Assisting with general front office and administrative operations
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Dental, orthodontic, or healthcare office experience preferred
- Relevant certifications, licenses, or additional training are a plus

Relocation Requirement
