What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Designer position at John J Burger Architect?
Our firm is looking for either an emerging professional or a licensed architect to join our team. Work experience is preferred though not required.
What we’re looking for:
- A candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
- AutoCAD and technical detailing skills are essential along with the ability to quickly and intuitively explore design options.
- Experience preparing construction documents is encouraged.
- Strong communication, a collaborative spirit, leadership and team organization skills are crucial along with a history of managing design processes from concept through construction.
- Graphic skills including SketchUp and/or Lumion for renderings are encouraged but not required.
Though the role is preferred to be in-person, it is not a requirement. Full or part time positions are available. The candidate may also be considered for a hybrid or remote schedule.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
