What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instrumentation Technician (Bending Tubing) position at John H. Carter Company?
PRINCIPLE ACCOUTABILITES:• Awareness of Safety PPE equipment used for job task.
• Awareness of simple tools (ex. Tape measure, hand tools, drills, and band
saws)
• Communication with coworkers
• Acceptance of orders given by experienced co-workers.
• Understanding instrumentation vocabulary
• Able to fabricate tubing tray with quality
• Able to fabricate tubing tray clips
• Installing tubing on instrumentation task with accuracy and quantity of
work
• Prepare safety devices with proper fittings
• Performing safety testing of devices hooked up
• Perform minor troubleshooting of safety system
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
• I & E employee has attended training provided by I & E Technologies,
LLC.
• Employee has gone through an on-the-job training of installing
instrumentation fittings. (Ex. Proper makeup of compression fittings)
• T-2 or Production Safety System courses
EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years instrumentation experience
SKILLS:
• Carpentry Skills.
• Instrumentation Tubing installation techniques
PERSONAL RELATIONS SKILLS:
• Employee must be able to take constructive criticism, and must be able to
work together with others.
• Employee must be able to get to work on a daily basis and be on time.
• Employee must be able to perform quality workmanship
