John Fabry State Farm is a respected, community-based independent insurance agency proudly serving the Delaware and Philadelphia counties families and businesses for 8 years. We're looking for a friendly, persistent, and results-driven part-time team member to help us generate high-quality leads for our personal lines sales team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Telemarketer/Lead Generator to make outbound calls to warm and targeted leads, qualify prospects, and set qualified appointments for our licensed insurance producers. This is a flexible, performance-oriented role with strong earning potential through hourly pay plus generous bonuses for quality appointments set and leads that convert.
Ideal schedule: Monday - Friday 12/1pm to 5/6pm can vary typically 4 hours shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to provided lead lists (warm referrals, recent quote requests, purchased lists, past clients, etc.)
- Follow scripts and objection-handling techniques while maintaining a warm, professional, and conversational tone
- Qualify prospects by gathering basic insurance needs and interest level
- Schedule appointments for licensed producers (phone, video, or in-person)
- Accurately log all call activity, outcomes, and notes in our CRM/agency management system
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly appointment-setting and contact goals
- Assist with occasional follow-up calls/texts/emails to nurture leads
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Excellent phone presence – clear, friendly, confident, and persuasive voice
- Strong listening skills and ability to handle objections professionally
- Comfortable working with scripts while still sounding natural
- Basic computer skills (CRM, Google Workspace/Microsoft 365, dialer software)
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently while being coachable and receptive to feedback
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or home services sales
- Familiarity with agency management systems (AMS360, Applied Epic, QQCatalyst, etc.)
- Experience using auto-dialers or power dialers
- Current Property & Casualty license (not required for this role)
