John Evans Recruiting is conducting a search for a Senior Wealth Management Associate with a Series 7 and/or Series 66 license to support a female-founder-led wealth management practice based in Towson, MD. Our client is one of the top female wealth advisors in the United States, and she is looking for a trusted employee to support her 5-employee firm serving high-net-worth (HNW) clients nationally.
The Senior Wealth Management Associate will be heavily involved in client service, investment operations, financial planning support, and practice management.
This position is based 4-5 days a week in the Towson office.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day HNW client service needs.
- Respond to client requests and coordinate meetings, agendas, and follow-up.
- Assist with client onboarding, account opening, transfers, trades, distributions, and other transactions.
- Prepare reports, presentations, financial planning materials, and client correspondence.
- Support the Wealth Advisor with client meetings, investment reviews, and implementation of recommendations.
- Coordinate with custodians, investment firms, insurance companies, and other professional advisors.
- Maintain accurate client records and CRM information.
- Track outstanding items and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support compliance, documentation, audits, and practice management.
- Help improve internal systems, processes, and workflows.
- Communicate regularly with advisors regarding client needs and activity.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or financial planning preferred.
- Series 7 required and Series 66 preferred; clean FINRA record and successful background check.
- Strong understanding of investments and financial planning.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional, polished, and client-service oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Redtail or similar), and financial planning/investment technology (eMoney).
Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 $20,000–$40,000 bonus
