Job Description:

This role is based on site at a customer facility, where you will coordinate, schedule, and participate in work required under the partnership agreement. As part of the Condition Monitoring team, you will help develop, operate, and manage Condition Monitoring programs for John Crane’s client.

The Condition Monitoring Specialist is responsible for collecting routine monitoring data, performing first‑line analysis, and preparing initial reports. You will work closely with the site Engineer to capture advanced diagnostic data and support troubleshooting activities, ensuring accurate and timely insights into equipment health

Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Operate and Develop Condition Monitoring programs for John Crane clients in conjunction with the Lead Condition Monitoring Engineer.
  • Conduct routine Condition Monitoring surveys at our clients’ premises.
  • Conduct analysis of routine vibration data.
  • Report Vibration and Oil Analysis results and associated corrective maintenance recommendations
  • Interface with the client for the on-site delivery of Condition Monitoring services.
  • Conduct periodic on-site Pump Performance Testing and on-site Reporting.
  • Report and manage wireless vibration sensors and software.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology degree preferred and/or equivalent and relevant work experience with rotating equipment.
  • Working knowledge of computers, MS Office and specialist vibration monitoring software.
  • Vibration Analysis ISO 18436-2 Category 2, or equivalent preferred.
  • Lubrication Analysis ISO 18436-4 Category 2, or equivalent preferred.
  • Preferred skills such as thermography, rotor dynamics analysis, laser alignment, and electrical tests.
  • Experience working in a diverse environment with a global company is a plus.
