Position Summary
The Accounting Clerk III performs a variety of technical and clerical accounting duties related to payroll and accounts payable functions. This role is responsible for accurately processing employee payroll, preparing reports and filings, maintaining payroll records, reviewing and processing invoices, issuing vendor payments, and assisting with reconciliations. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Process and review employee timesheets, payroll runs, deductions, and adjustments.
Prepare payroll reports and maintain employee payroll files in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
Prepare and issue vendor payments, maintain vendor files, and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Respond to payroll and vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
Support the Fiscal Department with other accounting duties as assigned.
