Overview:
John C. Cassidy is seeking afull-time Plumbing Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the Plumbing Service department, including scheduling, dispatch, estimating, ticket reviews, invoicing, and customer service, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards. This role is crucial in meeting established service and Technician performance goals by optimizing labor and scheduling resources within the allocated budget. The Plumbing Manager collaborates closely with the General Manager and VP of Plumbing to develop and recommend policies and procedures that enhance the department's competitive position and profitability. Additionally, the Plumbing Manager directs activities to ensure that deliverables are completed on time and meet quality and cost objectives, ultimately aiming to satisfy customer needs.

What You'll Do:
- Direct and manage Plumbing operations
- Hire, train, develop and appraise Service Department staff effectively
- Focus on Company’s KPIs, to include revenue, gross profit, direct labor cost and direct material costs
- Generate revenue opportunities for the Plumbing team
- Resolve customer service issues and provide a superior level of service to ensure long-term business growth and the ability to seek new ventures
- Provides oversight and supervision for installations, repairs, and maintenance jobs of the plumbing department
- Call-by-Call management support. Assist with determining time and cost estimates for plumbing jobs, provide technical support for field and assist in closing sales
- Estimate jobs not in Pricebook and/or Custom Quotes
- Prepare drawings and/or submittals when required by Permit Departments and resolve all failed inspections
- Plan, schedule, supervise and assign the activities of the Plumbing team
- Establish work standards, production control, and job priorities
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce the safety culture
- Ensure technicians have proper inventory on trucks to complete scheduled work
- Review payroll time sheets and commissions for accuracy and make adjustments required and approve same
- Perform related work as required
What You'll Bring:
- High School diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent
- Strong and in-depth knowledge and understanding of Plumbing systems
- Ability to motivate, manage, and train technicians, installers, and dispatchers
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint is helpful
- Independent thinker
- 10 or more years of Plumbing industry experience, minimum 4 years in a managerial role
- Must have a clean valid driver’s license
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with superiors, colleagues, subordinates and individuals inside and outside the company
- Purchasing/Inventory Control
- Budgeting /Cost center management
- Florida State Plumbing Contractors License is a Plus
