Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor provides leadership, direction, and support to the receiving team responsible for inbound deliveries at our Bainbridge, GA facility. This role oversees a team of 25–35 hourly employees and is accountable for meeting cost objectives while continuously improving efficiency, quality, and processes.

Functions of the Position:

• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and QAD, providing frontline support for troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Ensure procedures are consistently followed across operations and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Hire, train, coach, motivate, and evaluate team members; develop talent through training and cross-training to enhance flexibility and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of products and delivery to production lines.
• Partner with inventory control to maintain accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders; lead meetings to share objectives, resolve issues, and drive process improvements.
• Ensure equipment is safe, functional, and available for daily operations.
• Oversee and manage all receiving documentation, ensuring compliance with proper documentation processes.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience in a supervisory or lead role required.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:

• Material handling equipment certification required (JBSS-issued).

Skills and Competencies:

• Goal-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team-building, project execution, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to stand for a long period of time and lift 50 lbs.

The starting salary range for this position is $61,130-$84,054. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for performance-based incentives subject to the terms of the underlying plan.
