Overview
Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscape Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for landscape maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring the aesthetic appeal and health of various landscapes, including lawns, gardens, and trees. The Landscape Supervisor will oversee a team of groundskeepers, manage daily operations, and ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards.
Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of groundskeeping staff in daily landscape maintenance tasks.
- Plan and execute landscape projects, including planting, irrigation, and tree care.
- Maintain high-quality standards in lawn care, ensuring healthy growth and appearance.
- Develop schedules for routine maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, fertilizing, irrigation system maintenance and plant identification.
- Installation and maintenance of patios, walkways, and other hardscape features.
- Monitor the health of plants and trees, providing necessary care to promote growth.
- Train team members on proper landscaping techniques and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
- Knowledgeable of various landscaping equipment (mowers, edgers, etc.) Ensure all equipment is maintained properly and used safely by the team.
- Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to assess conditions and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license is required for transportation between job sites.
- 3 years of landscaping experience.
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, including tree care, irrigation systems, and lawn care practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during projects.
