Duties
- Conduct field data collection using GPS, total stations,and other survey equipment to gather accurate land measurements and topographical information
- Perform utility locating to identify underground infrastructure and prevent project delays or hazards
- Prepare survey sketches, schematics, and drafting documents ensuring precision with CAD programs and drafting standards
Requirements
- Strong understanding of land surveying principles combined with practical experience in data collection techniques
- Proficiency in utilizing GPS & total stations,
- Knowledge of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math fundamentals essential for precise measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with schematics, construction plans, and land survey documentation standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; capable of analyzing complex data sets effectively
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols
