Screening Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Johanson Technology Inc. (JTI) is looking for a Screening Machine Operator this position is responsible for setting up and operating semi-automated printing machines using Screen Printers.

Hourly Rate (Non-Exempt): $18.00 - $21.00/per hour (DOE)

Work Schedule (Monday-Friday): 3:30 p.m. - 12:00 a.m.

Training Schedule (Monday-Friday): 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (6 - 8 weeks)

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least three (3) months in setting up and operating semi-automated machines.
• At least three (3) months of Microscope experience
• Basic computer skills
• Good math skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Must be very detail oriented
  
  
  

Preferred Education and Experience:

• At least three (3) months working in a manufacturing environment
• Cleanroom environment
• Screen Printing
  
  
  

Essential Functions:

• Screeners are responsible for the quality of the prints they produce.
• They must be able to read the travelers to ensure that they are using correct ink, screens and dielectric type tape and tape thickness.
• Responsible for properly configuring and orienting tooling to support consistent, high-quality production by aligning multiple screens.
• Must perform first article inspection by doing multiple tests before starting lots to be printed.
• Must be working with some chemicals used for screen cleaning.
• Work area is to be kept clean and neat at all times.
  
  
  

Physical And Mental Demands:

• Use of microscope up to 15% of shift
• Standing/Walking up to 70% of shift; Sitting up to 30%
• Twisting of neck and waist up to 30% shift
• Reaching above shoulder, and simple hand grasping up to 20% of shift.
• Lift, push, pull, and/or move - up to 50 lbs. up to 10% shift.
• Will occasionally work in fast paced environment and demonstrate adaptability
• Must understand and follow a set of clear verbal and/or written procedures without deviation.
• Must adhere to a provided work schedule to meet a set of qualitative production standards.
