Responsibilities
- Keeping the waste water discharge from Johanna Foods Inc. within required permit levels.
- Working safely and independently.
- Communicating technical issues verbally and in writing.
- Training off-site and becoming certified as an N-Level Wastewater Treatment Operator.
- Responsible for operating and maintaining all industrial waste water, bio-solid processing, and dewatering equipment required to control the flow and quality of waste water.
- Conducting lab tests for water and optimal chemical application.
- General WWT Plant housekeeping.
- Keeping equipment and conveyors in optimal running condition.
- Maintaining logs of various operations within the WWT Plant.
- Proficiency in basic math.
- Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Working independently with a team-oriented attitude and approach.
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- Weekend work is required.
- Proficiency in basic math is required.
