What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mining Sales Engineer position at JOEST USA?
Company Background:
JOEST is a global leader of vibratory equipment serving the mining, aggregate, scrap, recycling, steel, foundry, chemical and food industries worldwide. With a dozen offices across the globe, and parent company headquartered in Duelmen, Germany, we have the engineering and manufacturing expertise worldwide to provide high quality machine solutions to our customers for bulk material processing.
Founded in 1919 in Germany, JOEST is a privately held company. We set up our North American headquarters, JOEST, Inc. in the Chicago area in 2006 and began designing and manufacturing equipment locally for the US, Canadian and Mexican markets. Sales, engineering and business operations are located at our office in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Production of our equipment, as well as service and spare part management, takes place at our manufacturing facility in Piney Flats, Tennessee.
Over the years JOEST has acquired a few machine brands that fit well into our equipment portfolio. Our acquisition of GOESSLING has expanded our machines to include hinge belt and magnetic conveyors in the stamping, forging and fastener industries. We recently acquired the company MOGENSEN, providing sorting and separating solutions for the mining, aggregate, food and chemical markets. This growth and expansion provides us with the need to look for an experienced salesperson to act as a hands-on mining sales leader to spearhead further growth of our business in the mining industry.
