Joe the Plumber is a growing residential and commercial plumbing company serving central and eastern Connecticut. We're looking for a licensed plumber who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build a long-term career with a company that values professionalism, teamwork, and customer service. Responsibilities

· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems.

· Present repair and replacement options so customers can make informed and confident buying decisions.

· Perform high-quality plumbing repairs and installations.

· Communicate effectively with dispatch, office staff, and management throughout the day.

· Accurately document work orders, notes, and photos using a company-provided smartphone or tablet.

· Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked service vehicle.

· Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

· Participate in company training and continuing education.

· Participate in our rotating on-call schedule.

· Safely operate a company vehicle and represent Joe the Plumber professionally at all times.

Qualifications

· Connecticut P-2 Plumbing License or higher (Required)

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required)

· Residential service experience is preferred, but we welcome licensed plumbers with experience in new construction, commercial, or remodeling who are looking to transition into service.

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet to complete work orders, document jobs, communicate with the office, and access dispatching software.

· Must supply personal hand tools.

· Positive attitude, dependable, self-motivated, and customer-focused.

Compensation

· Competitive compensation: $40.00–$48.00 per hour, plus weekly performance bonuses and spiffs

· High-performing technicians have the potential to earn over $100,000 annually

· Typical schedule of 37–45 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime
