What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Mechanic position at Joe's Highway 6 Automotive?
We are a small 3 bay shop, operating since 2009. We have deep roots within the local community and are most-known for honesty and quick, professional work. Honest work is what we sell, honest work is all we do. Ever. We work Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm.
An ideal candidate would be highly knowledgeable and experienced with civilian cars and trucks 1996 and newer. Emphasis on HVAC and OBD 2 diagnostics / repairs.
No transmission or paint/body experience required.
No drugs. Period.
All pay will be 1099. You're only boss will be the appointments to which you commit. You will be responsible for your own mistakes. You can expect beyond competitive pay for expert, honest work. Up to $75 per book/flag hour. There will be a paid trial period to ascertain if you've got the required skill and honesty. Joe will be available for advice, but not for teaching.
Shop bays are well ventilated, but no A/C. The office, waiting room area is air conditioned.
