About the Role:
Joe's Farm Market in Clarence, NY is looking for enthusiastic, friendly individuals to join our team at the farmers market! This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an indoor/outdoor setting, connect with your local community, and be part of a fresh, farm-to-table experience that customers love. We are a season business, open April-October and open again in November-December for Christmas trees.
Responsibilities:
- Go through produce daily to make sure everything is as fresh as possible.
- Assist customers with product selection and answer questions
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately at point of sale
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing product displays
- Restock produce and goods throughout the market day
- Represent Joe's Farm Market with a positive, welcoming attitude
Requirements:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual, including early morning availability
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Basic math and cash handling skills preferred
- Prior retail, market, or agricultural experience is a plus but not required
