Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within the apartment building, ensuring a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various cleaning tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial and industrial settings, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, buffing, and vacuuming floors to ensure they are presentable at all times.
• Conduct custodial duties such as trash removal, window cleaning, and surface sanitization.
• Monitor supply levels for cleaning materials and report any shortages to management monthly.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies throughout the property.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in janitorial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and floor care practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining a clean environment.
