Duties
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and machinery using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance, verify circuit integrity, and identify faults accurately.
- Follow detailed service procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts used, and observations made during maintenance visits.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to explain technical issues and recommend solutions.
- Assist in installing new equipment or systems, ensuring proper setup and calibration for optimal operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and parts are properly stored after use.
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in electrical or mechanical systems; prior experience with service or maintenance roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing devices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and clients.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams clearly.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Attention to detail with a focus on safety standards at all times.
- A valid driver’s license may be required depending on the scope of service calls.
