The Reagan for Colorado Campaign is seeking bright, energetic, and passionate students to join our paid or for-credit internship program. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in electoral politics while earning academic credit through your college or university.
Our internship program is designed as an enriching, educational, and fun experience for students who want to learn the fundamentals of campaign strategy, voter outreach, data management, and more. This role will provide transferable skills applicable to any field, and specifically, it will allow successful candidates to:
- Gain practical knowledge of campaign management and voter contact strategies
- Work alongside seasoned campaign staff and political professionals
- Attend events featuring local and national political leaders
- Build professional networks with fellow interns, staff, and volunteers
- Develop skills applicable to a wide range of careers, from political consulting to advocacy, public relations, data analytics and management, or nonprofit leadership
Primary Responsibilities
- Engage in direct voter outreach through canvassing and phone banking
- Assist in organizing campaign events, rallies, and volunteer trainings
- Support data entry and voter file management
- Participate in team meetings, strategy sessions, and briefings
- Collaborate with staff on social media outreach or research projects as needed
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program
- Strong interest in politics, community organizing, or public service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Google Workspace, Adobe Suite, Social media platforms preferred but not required
- Access to transportation required
- No previous campaign experience is required. Training will be provided.
Salary : $16 - $23
