What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Carryout/Retail Associate position at Joe Louis Southern Kitchen (Southfield)?

Joe Louis Southern Kitchen Hosts, Carryout and Retail Associates love early mornings, are enthusiastic about delivering excellence in hospitality and are among the best in their field. In addition, our Carryout and Retail Associates are required to do the following but not limited to:
- Uphold our Ten Steps of Service and our tenents of Seamless Service.
- Continually champion both a supportive, respectful and collaborative teamwork environment with their fellow team members.
- Ensure that all of our guests are greeted, feel valued and are treated with kindness and respect.
- Maintain and balance guests that are added to our seating chart, walk in guests, seating guests in a timely manner.
- Radiate a positive attitude, are friendly and takes pride in keeping our restaurant spotless and organized.
- Detail oriented when placing guests carryout orders and in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
- You'll be fully cross-trained to master all front-of-house positions, including serving. We expect our team members to be flexible and work in multiple roles as business demands fluctuate.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time; must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry heavy plates and/or bags and boxes.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
What we offer:
- Hourly rate of $12.48 - $16.00 per hour
- Profit Sharing after 90 days of employment
- Part time/full time
