Stocker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. This role is essential in providing excellent customer service while ensuring that our inventory is well-managed and stocked. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Duties

• Assist with stocking shelves, ensuring products are displayed properly and organized.
• Manage inventory control by utilizing RF scanners for accurate tracking of stock levels.
• Load and unload merchandise, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and stockrooms.
• Support shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve merchandising goals and maintain store standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks as needed to keep the store environment safe and welcoming.

Skills

• Proficient in inventory management and control techniques.
• Experience using RF scanners and pallet jacks for efficient stock handling.
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
• Strong background in retail sales, customer service, and cashiering duties.
• Ability to perform retail math for accurate pricing and transactions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous.
• Organizational skills to maintain an orderly stockroom and sales floor.
• Experience in grocery store operations, including produce handling and packaging processes.
