About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team in the Construction industry. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to move materials around the job site. Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience operating heavy machinery, including loaders
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the Construction industry
- Certification in heavy equipment operation
- Experience with GPS and other advanced technology for heavy machinery
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy machinery, including loaders, to move materials around the job site
- Ensure that materials are moved safely and efficiently, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure that it is in good working order
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs regularly.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8–12 hours/day).
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to hear instructions and warnings in a noisy environment.
Skills:
As a Loader Operator, you will use your skills in heavy machinery operation, attention to detail, and ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics on a daily basis.
