About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laborer to join our team in the construction industry. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on the job site, including but not limited to, carrying materials, digging trenches, and operating machinery. Your main goal will be to ensure that the job site is safe, clean, and efficient.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience working in the construction industry
• Knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Certification in construction safety
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Experience with concrete work
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of job sites by setting up equipment and materials
• Load and unload materials from trucks
• Operate and maintain various tools and equipment
• Perform general maintenance of construction equipment and vehicles
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations on the job site

Skills:

As a Laborer, you will utilize your physical strength and stamina to perform a variety of tasks on the job site. You will need to have a strong attention to detail and be able to follow instructions closely. Additionally, you will need to be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with your colleagues. Your knowledge of basic construction tools and equipment will be essential to your success in this role. Finally, your ability to adapt to changing situations and think on your feet will be critical to ensuring that the job site runs smoothly and efficiently.
