Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our facilities running smoothly and efficiently. In this role, you'll be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks across residential, manufacturing, or commercial environments. Your expertise will help ensure that equipment operates reliably, safety standards are met, and the overall facility remains in top condition. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and ready to tackle diverse maintenance challenges with a positive attitude.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage automated systems and troubleshoot related faults.
- Conduct welding repairs and perform basic residential painting when needed to maintain facility aesthetics.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems.
- Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance with a strong mechanical background.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including wiring, circuit breakers, and PLCs.
- Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for minor repair work.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance teams is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
