Eat Up Drive IN is a family owned Arcadia neighborhood restaurant serving homestyle classics and today’s favorites made from scratch daily. Some menu items include: wood fired citrus chicken, salads, sandwiches, traditional and vegan chili, baked potatoes, and of course, something for the kiddos. The restaurant has 1 drive thru lane, curbside pickup, 14 indoor seats, and 28 patio seats. Serving Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Eat Up Drive In was created with the goal of serving the community our favorite homestyle meals, cooked slow and served fast. Our proteins are antibiotic and hormone free, we are gluten-free friendly and we use local farms and vendors. Eat Up is looking for cooks who are passionate about putting out consistent, quality food and seeking opportunities to learn and grow in the kitchen. You should be able to follow recipes and take direction from the Chef or Sous Chef. You welcome the fast, often hectic pace of the kitchen and are, above all, a TEAM PLAYER!

Open Availability, Part-Time and Full-Time available
Pay Range: $18.00 - $20.00/hr
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Our BOH team shares all responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Prep and being cross-trained on all stations.
Operate ovens, stoves, grills and fryers.
Test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently, ensuring correctness of temperature for appliances and for food.
Set-up and break-down work stations.
Wash and disinfect kitchen area including: tables, tools, knives, equipment and dishes.
Adhere to company policies and health, safety and employment standards.
Maintain personal cleanliness and appearance.
Maintain fast accurate service, ensure an excellent customer experience, and make sure all products are consistent with company standards.
Make sure the restaurant is up to company standards with regards to cleanliness and organization.
Handle customer issues and internal conflicts professionally.
Communicate respectfully with both FOH and BOH staff; work together to solve problems that may arise (i.e., items that are missing from the ticket, items that need to be ordered, or 86’d items to input in the computer).
Requirements:
Maricopa County Food Handler's Certification, ServSafe Certification preferred
