Responsibilities
- Receiving: Receive, reconcile, and properly route inbound parcel and freight shipments. Unload multiple trucks a day. Ensure all receiving is completed by EOM.
- Inspection & Compliance: Perform physical inspections of incoming raw materials, hardware, and specialized components to ensure they are free of damage.
- Documentation Management: Verify and process documentation, including Certificates of Conformance (CoC), test reports, and packing slips, ensuring 100% accuracy before parts enter inventory.
- ERP/MRP Data Entry: Accurately record all inbound shipments in the company’s enterprise system and communicate discrepancies to Procurement teams.
- Non-Conforming Material Handling: Ability to identify and segregate items that fail to meet basic quality standards or lack proper documentation.
- Specialized Material Handling: Safely manage the receipt of temperature-sensitive items, hazardous materials (HAZMAT) and others.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact daily with employees from many different departments at our company Headquarters, adhering to high standards of customer service.
Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 3-5 years shipping/receiving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Experience with ERP/Inventory management software tools.
- Strict attention to detail is required.
- Ability to be forklift certified.

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $21-$30/hr.
