What you’ll do
- Assist attorney with case preparation by conducting thorough legal research
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.
- Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence, while maintaining high standards of accuracy through proofreading and transcription.
- Support project management efforts by identifying Clients, tracking deadlines, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Review documents for relevance and compliance with legal standards, ensuring that all materials are up-to-date.
- Utilize document management systems to maintain efficient workflows and data entry processes.
- Provide executive administrative support to attorney, including managing calendars and handling phone etiquette professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous paralegal experience or relevant legal administrative experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with personal injury law and litigation processes is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment is required
- Excellent writing skills for drafting clear and concise legal documents is required
