Job Description
Purpose:
Onsite Manager / Recruiter represents CorTech by overseeing day-to-day
operations of CorTech’s Contingent Labor at our client site. The Onsite Manager is
responsible for daily communication with Client HR/Supervisors, daily communication with
contingent workers, recruitment and retention of contingent workers. This includes but not
limited to: meetings with internal and external leadership, contingent labor coaching,
contingent labor orientations, onboarding & compliance of new recruits, completion of the site’s payroll by Tuesday’s 12pm EST, job fairs & local marketing, and creating a smooth, positive experience by handling daily tasks with a professional demeanor for all parties (MSP, Client, Contractors, and CorTech).
CorTech Onsite Hours:
Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (based on client needs).
Onsite Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for conducting new hire orientations, counseling/coaching temporary
workers, and handling or escalating employee relations issues.
The CorTech representative will check-in each morning with the Dept. Managers and get
an update on any absent/late employees for all Suppliers.
CorTech will report any absent/late employees to MSP via email.
Document all personnel issues, including performance and attendance and report to
MSP.
CorTech will be responsible for following up with any missing/late CorTech
employees. MSP will communicate with all other Suppliers to get updates on their
contractor’s attendance concerns.
Act as a representative of MSP in the role of liaison between all contingent workforce on
the floor regardless of who the employer is, and CLIENT managers in a professional,
courteous and knowledgeable manner.
Meet with managers and supervisors on a regular basis to monitor quality and assess
upcoming needs, current service level, new or changing issues in the department,
staffing opportunities, etc.
Create a positive working environment for all contingent employees by developing
positive relationships with all employees.
In case of any argument that involves any contingent workforce, first step in and try your
best to help de-escalate the situation, and then inform MSP at the earliest.
Work with manager and MSP Program Professional to address employee relations issues
in a confidential and objective manner.
Recruiting Responsibilities:
Check for daily recruitment needs in VMS, post jobs in our recruitment software, hire
quality candidates, submit all documentation for compliance and receive clearance from
compliance team.
Attract employees who fit a job description and have the potential to become valuable
additions to the company.
Work with CorTech leadership to build recruiting strategies.
Work with MSP Program Professional to develop and execute creative solutions to meet
recruiting and retention challenges.
Administrative duties:
Confirm drug screens, background, education, employment, offer letter, i-9 and e-verify
are all cleared for new starts.
Administer employee compensation, training and benefit programs.
Responsible for communicating and enforcing CorTech policies around payroll,
attendance, safety, and other employee programs.
Efficiently completes all back office (payroll, operations) duties in a timely manner.
Job Requirements:
College degree (Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred), or relevant work experience
Bilingual - Spanish Preferred
Experience supervising or managing in warehouse or distribution center, 18 months preferred.
At least 12 months of previous work experience in staffing/recruiting and/or human resources is preferred
Ability to effectively communicate with others
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines, i.e. a self-starter
Must be detail-oriented
