HR Generalist Responsibilities (Approximately 50%)
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee and supervisor HR questions.
- Support employee relations matters, including attendance, performance discussions, and policy interpretation.
- Assist with onboarding, orientations, training coordination, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain personnel files and ensure accurate documentation in HR systems.
- Support compliance with employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Assist with recruiting coordination, interview scheduling, and hiring documentation.
- Support payroll/timekeeping administration, including tracking attendance issues.
- Coordinate employee communications, postings, and required workplace notices.
Facilities & Operations Support Responsibilities (Approximately 50%)
- Coordinate day‐to‐day facilities needs to ensure a safe, organized, and functional manufacturing environment.
- Manage purchasing of production tooling, supplies, and facility‐related materials, working within established budgets.
- Support production teams by assisting with production schedules, tracking changes, and communicating updates as needed.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and external vendors for repairs, tooling needs, and facility improvements.
- Monitor workplace safety conditions and support corrective action follow‐up.
- Track inventory of tools, supplies, and facility equipment.
- Assist with space planning, office/shop layout changes, and minor facility projects.
- Maintain documentation related to facilities, tooling purchases, and operational support.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in HR, facilities, operations, or manufacturing support roles.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, and basic employment compliance.
- Experience with purchasing, vendor coordination, or production support is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS or ERP experience is helpful.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‐functionally.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
Physical & Work Environment
- Primarily on‐site in a manufacturing and office setting.
- May require occasional time on the production floor.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
