Job ID: 369460 Production AssemblerLocation: Simi Valley, CAJob Type: ContractContract Length: 6 MonthsSalary Range: $22.68/Per HourWeekly Pay!$22.68/HourShift Details : 2nd shiftDay starts at : 03:00PMDay Ends at : 02:00AMWorking days: Monday through ThursdayJOB DESCRIPTION:Job Designation:The Production Assembler 2 performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations, under moderate guidance and in accordance with company policy and safety procedures.Responsibilities:Performs a variety of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance with company instructions and proceduresConducts inspections of own and /or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with company and /or customer drawingApplies process specifications governing the production of product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity dataMaintains work area under company guidelines and participates in events as requiredProvides simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering and may operate light machinery such as sand blaster, or electro- etching processing and pressActively demonstrates all safety policies and proceduresOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessaryQualifications:Skilled at routine mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operationsAble to operate a variety of hand tools and machineryAbility to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and proceduresGood manual dexterity required to work with small partsCapable of recognizing and solving typical problems that can occur in own work area; evaluates and selects solutions from established optionsEffective oral written and interpersonal skillsEducation & Experience:Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related fieldYears Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experienceCompany DescriptionSearch for job opportunities across the United States with JobsRUs.
