We are seeking a temporary Localization Operations Project Manager to join our team for a
project at Block, Inc. As part of the Globalization department, you will play a vital role in:
● Ensuring smooth communication with external vendors.
● Managing onboarding processes.
● Supporting the day-to-day operations of Localization Operations.
This role involves:
● Utilizing project management tools.
● Maintaining data and documentation.
● Fostering effective communication across various platforms.
Duties:
● Communicate with external vendors to streamline onboarding processes and manage the
timely delivery of all necessary equipment.
● Learn internal technology tools and troubleshoot issues for vendors.
● Triage incoming IT/tooling issues using Jira and execute on- and off-boarding tasks for
vendor partners.
● Maintain central communication platforms such as Slack channels, Wiki pages, and
documentation.
● Assist in expanding the reach and impact of the Localization Operations team within Square growth ecosystem.
● Update and maintain trackers alongside vendor partners to ensure accurate inventory and
onboarding information.
● Support ongoing daily operations of Localization Operations.
Skills:
● Proficiency in project management tools like Asana and Jira.
● Experience organizing and maintaining data/information using documentation and trackers.
● Strong prioritization and communication skills.
● Ability to disperse information across multiple platforms.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships and
influence across the organization.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of operations experience in a tech company, non-profit, or
global organization spanning multiple international regions and time-zones, or high
school/secondary education with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
