Contractor 1:

Team: Quit for Life Data Analytics team

Quit for Life is one of our legacy coaching program that was brought over from another organization and serves both commercial and state clients. The team currently has three people on it and one additional person from the business leaning in to learn more about DA work. The team owns our reporting layer tables, our Looker infrastructure, client reporting (Tableau), and our billing process. Our intended project for this person to work on is building out and architecting our looker infrastructure for things like program enrollment, nicotine replacement therapy shipping, coaching attendance, etc. But the intended work is subject to change!

Contractor 2

Team: Wellos Data Analytics team

Wellos is a new program that was built here with lots of new launches and arms of the business being added each day. Wellos has a direct-to-consumer arm and a B2B part of the business. There are currently three people on the team, and the primary work for this person will be to build out and architect our Looker infrastructure for new launches, as well as work with our Data Engineering team to help inform the architecture theyre putting in place and how that makes sense from a looker perspective. One potential launch will be the addition of new journeys to our platform, and wed like to make sure we build something scalable to work with multiple journeys that will be added in the future and not just tailored to the first one.

Skills And Requirements

•  At least 4 years of experience (around Looker specficially) data is inherited data and pipelines are all brought over from prior to the joint venture. Some things in Tableau and other data stores, moving things in Looker to give their end users something more selfl-serve.
  
  

o Looker expertise 2 pieces, I can use Looker and I can design the back end of Looker. Need them to be able to do the back end design of Looker.

•  Skills:
  
  

o SQL-writing going to be in DBT primarily, able to write new tables for things they need in Looker. Ability to dig in and tear it apart. Read SQL and writing some net new SQL. Can write efficient code (has junior folks on their team who are unable to do this)

o LookML and Looker Explore architecting experience

o Data analysis and exploration

o Able to find new insights and improve on old metrics

o Able to diagnose and fix data issues by digging through ETLs

o Data visualization and dashboarding experience (Looker) unless theyre client facing (Tableau)

o Client-facing report building experience (Tableau)

o Documentation writing release a new dashboard or new Explore, documentation for the business stakeholders

o Stakeholder communications and requirement gathering

o DBT

o Snowflake have written SQL in Snowflake data warehouse, not important if they dont have Snowflake

o Tableau

o Looker

•  Work out of JIRA to pull tickets and build reports/dashboards for the business teams null
