A private investment firm with over :$50B AUM is looking for a Private Credit Analyst/Associate to join the Direct Lending team in New York, NY. The firm provides first lien, unitranche, second lien and mezzanine debt, in addition to equity co-investments, secondary solutions and private equity fund commitments. The firm has a long history of disciplined investing across multiple economic cycles and has office locations in New York, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas and Los Angeles. The Private Credit Analyst/Associate will be responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, structuring and executing private investments, and managing new and existing portfolio investments within the credit platform. - Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related financial discipline with an outstanding record of academic achievement
- 1-3 years of investment banking (leveraged finance/M&A/financial sponsors/restructuring) or buyside private credit investing experience
- Experience working with financial sponsors is a plus
- Strong analytical and modeling skills and excellent attention to detail
- Passion for private credit investing
- Evaluating new investment opportunities
- Structuring and executing private investments
- Managing new and existing portfolio investments within the credit platform
