Responsibilities
- Conduct original quantitative research to identify and develop trading signals and strategies
- Analyze large, complex datasets using statistical and machine learning techniques
- Build, test, and refine models used in live trading environments
- Collaborate with traders, researchers, and technologists to translate research into production
- Present research findings clearly and rigorously to the wider team
- PhD (or postdoctoral background) in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior quantitative finance experience is required, ideally through internships or full-time roles in buyside quantitative research
- Strong programming skills in Python (required)
- Solid foundation in probability, statistics, and linear algebra
- Demonstrated ability to conduct independent, high-quality research
- Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks - NLP, LLMs, etc.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g., C , Java, R, Julia)
- Familiarity with financial markets, trading strategies, or market microstructure
