Investment Banking Associate

This firm is a leading middle market investment bank with a strong reputation for delivering high-impact advisory services across M&A, capital raising, and strategic financial solutions. Their industrials team is known for its deep sector expertise, collaborative culture, and consistent deal flow across a range of sub-sectors.

The team is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate to join in the NYC office. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, transaction experience and a passion for the industrials sector. This role offers significant exposure to live deals, senior bankers, and clients, with a clear path for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support execution of M&A, debt, and equity transactions across the Industrials sector.
• Build detailed financial models including DCF, LBO, and merger models.
• Prepare pitch books, management presentations, and other client deliverables.
• Conduct industry and company research to support business development and deal execution.
• Coordinate due diligence processes and interact with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and manage Analysts on the team.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of investment banking experience, preferably with exposure to Industrials.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
• Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred or willingness to obtain.
