z/OS System Programmer / Storage Engineer

Introduction:

We are seeking experienced Mainframe professionals who specialize in z/OS System Programming and Storage Management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mainframe technologies and be able to effectively manage storage systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform z/OS Systems Programming tasks to maintain and optimize system performance
  • Manage storage systems, including VSAM, DFSMS, and RACF, to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Implement Backup and Recovery solutions to protect critical data and ensure business continuity
  • Conduct Capacity Planning and Performance Management to meet current and future storage needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in z/OS administration and provide support for enterprise production environments

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • 10 years of experience in Mainframe technology
  • Strong background in z/OS administration
  • Experience supporting enterprise production environments

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of z/VM
