Client is looking for a Workday Developer/engineer with experience designing and developing integration solutions.
General Responsibilities:
- Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios.
- Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business
- Deliver solutions in Workday platform across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards
- Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results.
- Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes and capabilities
- Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance
- Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective
- Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
- At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
- 5 plus years of experience working with Workday platform across the Workday Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers)
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 plus years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday
- 3 plus years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
- Workday Integration Developer certifications
- 1 plus years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
- 1 plus years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service
- 2 plus years of experience in Agile practices
