We are seeking an experienced Workday Finance Consultant to support and enhance Workday Financials for a global finance organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional and technical expertise, along with leadership experience in delivering scalable, high-quality solutions within the Workday platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of integrators and configurators supporting Workday Finance modules
- Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize initiatives and deliver using Agile methodologies
- Design and implement solutions across Workday Financials, including:
- Core Financials
- Expenses
- Accounting Center
- Prism
- Work across finance modules such as:
- General Ledger
- Fixed Assets
- Global Consolidation
- Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence cross-functional decision-making
- Identify process improvement opportunities and partner with finance teams to optimize business outcomes
- Design and develop solutions using Workday-native capabilities, including:
- Business process configuration
- Orchestration
- Web services and reporting
- Build automation workflows, conduct unit testing, and perform code reviews to ensure quality and performance standards
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- 6 years of Workday platform experience
- 4 years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end Workday solutions
- 4 years of experience working with Workday APIs (REST/SOAP)
- 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of experience across Workday Finance modules
- 1–2 years of experience with Workday Prism and Accounting Center
- 5 years of experience in Workday integrations
- 5 years of experience working with APIs in Workday
- Experience building solutions using Workday Extend
- Workday Pro Certifications (Integration Developer, Financial Reporting)
