What You Will Do:
- Guidehouse is seeking a Workday Data Conversion Lead for full platform Workday implementations. The person we are seeking will provide expertise in requirements gathering, design, and implementation of customer data conversion processes.
- As a Workday Data Lead your primary responsibilities may include:
- Responsible for managing build timelines and collaboration with project management team on tenant management
- Plan and execute comprehensive configuration migration throughout deployment using Workday delivered toolset
- Serve as the primary knowledge source for converting data from legacy systems and spreadsheets into the Workday Cloud HCM & Financials system
- Converting Data into Workday using Workday provided loading tools
- Create ETL scripts to transform and load data in preparation to load to Workday
- Lead in the validation of data loaded into Workday
- Responsible for assisting clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues and overall responsibility over conversion activates on the project
- Responsible for key communication to project and client leadership
- Collaborate with client counterpart to successfully deliver on shared objectives
- Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
- Lead the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience
- An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role
- ship and must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD Public Trust security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse
- Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of FOUR (4) years of consulting or industry experience; OR a Master's degree with a MINIMUM of TWO (2) years of consulting or industry experience. Years of experience can be substituted for a degree, such as NO degree with a MINIMUM of EIGHT (8) years of consulting or industry experience
- A MINIMUM of TWO (2) full cycle Workday implementations in a Data Conversion Lead role
- A MINIMUM of TWO (2) years of Data Conversion experience including strong ETL and XML capabilities and SQL experience
- Active Workday Certification through a Workday Partner
- 25% travel balanced with a work from home and/or Guidehouse office, consultants may provide on-site support for key milestones as needed
- Experience working in Federal Government Human Capital Management (HCM) environments with an understanding of the issues facing agencies today
- Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint
- Strong reporting/analytics/BI experience
