Job Description:

The Windows Engineer supports new platform builds, application onboarding, security remediation requirements, CIS hardening, patch automation, GPO baselining, and Windows server lifecycle demands. Addition duties include Active Directory management and automation and ADCS PKI management. Skill in PowerShell is required, and Ansible or Terraform are desired. Must be willing to participate in on-call rotation to support over 10,000 windows servers and 15 Active Directory domains. Knowledge of DNS and Infoblox Gridmaster is a plus. The ideal candidate is comfortable using Agile/Scrum methodology in conjunction with Jira and ServiceNow tools for operational duties.

Job Duties:

• Windows Server lifecycle management: Plan and execute Windows Server template updates, including testing and implementation of new Windows Server versions.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve issues related to Windows Server and Active Directory, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and access and authentication issues.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices and policies for Windows Server and Active Directory environments, including user access controls, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with financial industry standards.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures, system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and provide knowledge sharing to other team members and stakeholders.
• Participates in the creation and maintenance of metrics and institutes a process for continuous improvement.
• Participates in Agile/Scrum Sprint delivery model to deliver objectives through stories/epics utilizing Jira to track all work.
• Participating in on-call rotation
  
  

Requirements:

10 years of experience working as a Systems Engineer

10 years of experience with Windows Server versions from 2012 to 2022 and included features

10 years of experience working with Active Directory including access management, Group Policy management, authentication methods (Kerberos, NTLM)

5 years of experience with DNS troubleshooting and management

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $73.00/hr.
