Position Details
- Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Nationwide candidates welcome)
- Location/Timezone: Columbia, SC / EST Shift (Includes on-call rotations for emergency updates)
- Interview Process: One Round of Virtual Interviews (Quick decision process!)
You will turn design mockups into functional, standards-compliant websites, write front-end and back-end code, and maintain/convert legacy applications. You will also provide technical leadership, collaborate with creative teams, and deliver training to users.
Key Skills & Experience Required
- 5 Years: Coding, developing, and debugging web applications in a team environment.
- 5 Years: Open-source backend development with Linux, PHP, Drupal (8 ), and WordPress.
- 5 Years: Front-end tech including HTML, DHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and Adobe Flash.
- 5 Years: Relational databases (SQL or MySQL).
- 5 Years: Experience working within the Public Sector / Government space.
- Core Skills: Apache web server configuration and full-cycle CMS deployment.
- CMS maintenance (applying Drupal patches and fixing application security issues).
- Strong design tool literacy (Adobe Photoshop, Captivate, and Adobe Pro for fillable forms).
- Core understanding of web accessibility/disability compliance and cross-browser standards.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and a knack for knowledge transfer/training.
- Bachelor's degree OR 5 years of equivalent professional work experience.
