Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of DOJ ADA Title II, Section 508, WCAG 2.1 AA, and accessibility laws/regulations
- 2 years of experience performing accessibility audits and remediating digital content (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 2 years of experience, proficiency with accessibility testing tools: ARC toolkit, NVDA, Acquia, BrowserStack, Office365 & Adobe Acrobat integrated accessibility tools, and/or similar tools.
- 2 years of experience working with HTML mark-up, CSS, ARIA, semantic structure, and accessible form authoring.
- 2 years of experience reviewing technical designs for accessibility integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to evaluate content, identify accessibility issues, and remediate.
- Ability to produce accurate, comprehensive documentation, job aids, and user guides.
- Ability to train end-users on technical/functional tools & concepts.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong prioritization and organization skills.
- Effective collaboration skills, team player in a fast paced and rapid delivery environment.
- Required excellent written and oral communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Recognize patterns and opportunities for improvement throughout the entire organization
