Responsibilities
STARLIMS Implementation & Configuration
- Support the rollout of an existing STARLIMS configuration at a new laboratory site.
- Configure and implement STARLIMS modules based on the current system architecture.
- Ensure the system is aligned with laboratory workflows and operational needs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and execute the STARLIMS deployment.
- Gather and document user requirements and ensure alignment with the existing implementation.
- Assist with installation and configuration of the STARLIMS application, including worker processes and print manager.
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and support system optimization during implementation.
- Support the development and organization of documentation required for system validation.
- Ensure system implementation activities align with validation and regulatory expectations within a GxP environment.
- Assist with training end users on system functionality.
- Provide ongoing user support and assist with issue resolution following implementation.
- 5 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated laboratory environment.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS systems (STARLIMS strongly preferred).
- Experience supporting LIMS implementation or configuration projects.
- Familiarity with ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) systems.
- Understanding of GxP environments and computer system validation (CSV) processes.
- Ability to develop or contribute to validation-related documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with laboratory, IT, and quality teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) preferred.
