Responsibilities
- Configure, monitor, and maintain VoIP systems and desk phones.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and apply necessary updates or patches.
- Plan and execute VoIP migrations for newly acquired facilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Validate connectivity, call routing, and feature functionality post-migration.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for VoIP-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of configurations and migration plans.
- Generate reports on system health, usage, and migration progress.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience managing VoIP systems (e.g., RingCentral, Cisco, Avaya, or similar).
- Experience with SIP protocols, call routing, IVRs, and PBX systems.
- Proven track record of successful VoIP migrations and integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS).
- Cisco CCNA Voice or Collaboration (Preferred)
- CompTIA Network (Preferred)
