The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of IP Telephony systems and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, deployment, and vendor coordination.

Voice Engineer With IPT
Introduction:
We are seeking an experienced Voice Engineer with IPT expertise to support and manage enterprise telecom and voice infrastructure for a global client with over 10,000 users. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of IP Telephony systems and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, deployment, and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage telecom expenses for a large enterprise user base (10K users)
- Procure, configure, and deploy new telecom devices and IPT solutions
- Handle critical IP Telephony (IPT) voice infrastructure requirements
- Respond to user inquiries, requests, and complaints related to:
- Call and data usage
- Billing and plans
- Value-added services (VAS)
- Coverage and connectivity issues
- Troubleshoot IPT phone issues, call routing/path problems, and infrastructure-related incidents
- Coordinate with OEMs, field services, and local IT teams for:
- Loaner/spare device management
- Repair and break-fix services
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely issue resolution
- Ensure SLA-driven incident and service request closure
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of telecom and IPT terminologies
- Knowledge of voice, data, and wireless communication services
- Hands-on experience with enterprise IPT infrastructure, including:
- CUBE (Cisco Unified Border Element)
- CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager)
- Cisco Unity
- SME (Session Management Edition)
- Voice Gateways
- Protocols: SIP, SCCP, MGoogle Cloud Platform
- WXCC (Webex Contact Center)
- UCaaS platforms
- Experience working with global clients or enterprise environments
- Experience in Unified Communications (UC) environments
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and stakeholders
- ITIL or service management experience is a plus
