Job Summary

We are looking for a VMware Consultant with strong AWS migration experience to design, deploy, and manage VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) SDDC environments. The role focuses on hybrid cloud architecture, workload migration, and advanced troubleshooting across VMware and AWS platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) SDDC environments
• Implement and manage NSX-T (micro-segmentation, routing, firewall)
• Plan and execute migrations using VMware HCX (vMotion, bulk, cold migration)
• Integrate on-prem VMware environments with AWS (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) across VMware stack
• Manage day-to-day operations of hybrid cloud (on-prem AWS)
• Monitor performance, capacity, and availability
• Collaborate with cloud, network, and security teams
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN
• Hands-on expertise in NSX-T (routing, DFW, NAT, VPN, BGP/OSPF)
• Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC)
• Migration experience using VMware HCX
• Solid knowledge of AWS services (VPC, EC2, Direct Connect, TGW)
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols)
• Expertise in troubleshooting and performance optimization
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
• Knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
• Familiarity with vRealize Suite (vRA, vROps, vRLI)
• Experience with Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
• VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP, VCIX)

• 8 years in VMware infrastructure and cloud
• Strong experience in hybrid cloud and migration projects
• Ability to work independently as an SME
