Job Summary

We are looking for a VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) SDDC Subject Matter Expert with strong experience in VMware hybrid cloud environments. The role involves architecture, deployment, migration, and troubleshooting across VMware and AWS integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Deployment

• Design and deploy VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC) SDDC environments
• Implement NSX-T (micro-segmentation, DFW, Tier-0/Tier-1 routing, load balancing)
• Execute HCX migrations (vMotion, Bulk, RAV, Cold)
• Integrate on-prem VMware with AWS (VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway)
• Manage upgrades, patches, and enhancements across VMware stack
  
  

Operations & Support

• Troubleshoot and perform RCA for:
• vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
• vSAN, NSX-T, HCX
• vRealize Suite (vRA, vROps, vRLI)
• SRM & replication
• Monitor performance, capacity, and availability
• Support hybrid cloud (on-prem VMC) environments
  
  

Collaboration

• Work with cloud, network, and security teams
• Create documentation, runbooks, and best practices
• Provide SME support for cloud transformation initiatives
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN
• Hands-on experience with NSX-T (routing, DFW, VPN, NAT, BGP/OSPF)
• Experience with VMware Cloud on AWS (VMC)
• Expertise in HCX migrations
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, VPN)
• Advanced troubleshooting and RCA skills
